Amy Seiwert (pronounced sigh-wert), who grew her career as a dancer and nascent choreographer at Smuin Ballet, has choreographed widely to considerable acclaim, and was the Sacramento Ballet’s artistic director, debuted last month as Smuin’s Contemporary Ballet’s new artistic director at Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts.
